Privacy notice

What we collect

• What you put in the enquiry form: name, phone, email, postcode, the job, budget and any photos.
• Texts, emails and voicemails you send to the business, and a record of calls to the business number.
• Which page you enquired from and how you found the site (for example a Google search), so we know which pages work.
• For customers: quotes, dates and payments, which we need for our accounts.

Why

To reply to your enquiry, arrange a visit, quote and do the work (steps towards a contract, and the contract itself), and to keep records the law requires. We send a short series of reminders about an open enquiry or quote because you asked us for a price (our legitimate interest in following it up). After a job we only check in later if you ticked the box to say that's fine.

Who else handles it

Cloudflare hosts this website and its database. Twilio sends and receives our text messages and handles calls to the business number. Mailgun sends our emails. They process data for us under contract and only to provide those services. We never sell your details.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't go ahead are deleted after two years. Customer records are kept for six years after the job for tax purposes.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to follow-up messages at any time. Reply STOP to any text or use the link in any email to stop them. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

The public website sets no tracking cookies. We note how you arrived (for example a Google search) in your browser's session storage, and it is sent only if you submit an enquiry. The staff area uses one cookie to keep staff signed in.
