Under‑stairs storage that uses the whole triangle
Pull-out drawers, cupboards, a desk or a TV nook in the space under the stairs.
The cupboard under the stairs is usually one door, one dark space and a hoover that falls out when you open it. We split that triangle into pieces you can reach: pull-out drawers for shoes and coats at the low end, a tall cupboard at the high end, or an open nook for a desk or TV.
Every staircase is a different angle, so every piece is cut to it. The fronts can be panelled to match the rest of the hall.

What if the gas or electric meter is under the stairs?
We build around it and leave an access door, so the meter reader and any engineer can still get to it.
Are pull-out drawers better than cupboards?
For the low end of the triangle, usually yes, because you can reach the back without crawling in. Cupboards suit the tall end. Most jobs end up as a mix.
